Rose and Ian

 

 

 

The birth stories of Rose and Ian are about Jenefer's birth at home in 1978. Rose grew up on a farm and had witnessed many animals birthing. Therefore she had no fear surrounding giving birth. The result was a quick birth of her first child (second even quicker) without any pain relief and only a small tear. 

 

 

Jenefer

 

 

 

Jenefer's own birth story of her daughter is very different. Jenefer grew up without observing birth in any way. She was very worried about it and did not believe she could do it. Jenefer's labour progressed very slowly over 7 days and ended in an emergency caesarean section. After this experience Jenefer qualified as a midwife and hypnobirthing teacher and now very much looks forward to the time when she will be able to give birth again.

 

 

Becky

 

 

 

 

Becky's births (to come) were all normal deliveries in hospital. Each one was induced, however she eventually progressed quickly with each birth and the pushing stages were very short. After the birth of her youngest child, Becky began her midwifery training and became a hypnobirthing practitioner. 

 

 

Elena 

 

 

 

 

Elena's birth is the story of one of our very first hypobirthing mamas. It is her first baby and she came into the hospital fully dilated and had her beautiful baby very quickly.
